BMED MD MS FRACS (VASCULAR)
Dr Wang's clinical expertise includes the treatment of arterial and venous disease, dialysis access, and diabetic foot complications.
He is an experienced vascular surgeon with a special interest in endovascular and minimally invasive techniques. He completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales before undertaking advanced surgical training across leading hospitals in New South Wales and Queensland. He went on to achieve fellowship in vascular surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
He has worked in some of Sydney’s busiest vascular units, including Royal Prince Alfred, Royal North Shore, Westmead, and Liverpool hospitals, where he gained extensive experience in the management of complex vascular conditions.
Dr Wang’s approach to care is centred on tailoring treatment to each patient’s individual needs, combining the latest minimally invasive options with a comprehensive understanding of traditional surgical techniques.
He remains actively engaged in the advancement of vascular surgery through ongoing research, publications, and presentations at national and international meetings. He is also committed to education, contributing to the training and mentorship of future vascular surgeons.
Outside of work, Dr Wang enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter Harriet, and their dog Lily.
